Michael Shamis, Branch Manager
Michael Shamis started his over-15-year banking career with Apple Bank in 2007. Soon after starting as a part-time teller in college, he quickly realized he enjoyed working face-to-face with customers. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to manage the new Sheepshead Bay branch, where he currently lives with his family.
Michael’s goal is to not only understand his customers’ needs but to also help them find financial solutions that work for their unique goals.
When he is not serving customers, Michael loves getting sushi on Sheepshead Bay Road with his wife and son, enjoying the nearby playground, or biking on one of the community’s many paths.
Olga Gutman, Assistant Branch Manager
Olga Gutman is excited to bring her two decades of banking experience to Apple Bank. Before joining the Sheepshead Bay Team, she held positions at several well-known banks, including Washington Mutual, Capital One and TD Bank. She is excited to join Apple Bank’s family atmosphere.
A licensed insurance agent, Olga holds licenses in life, accidental and health. She enjoys using her industry experience to help guide customers.
Outside of work, Olga enjoys gardening, traveling and visiting her favorite Turkish restaurant on the bay.
