Bank Access Information for Upgrade Weekend

How can I access my accounts during the upgrade weekend from August 5-7?
All Apple Bank branches will be closed from Friday, August 5, at 3:00 PM until Monday, August 8, at the regularly scheduled start of business. Online Banking and telephone banking will be unavailable from Friday at 3:00 PM until Monday at 8:00 AM.  Visit for a complete listing of hours by branch.

You will have limited access to your funds at ATMs.
Beginning at 10:00 AM on August 5, Apple Bank ATMs will be available for cash withdrawals only.  However, daily withdrawal limits will be lowered from Friday morning at 10:00 AM through Monday, as indicated below. Deposits, transfers and balance inquiries will not be available. 

Can I still use my Apple Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card during the upgrade?
Yes. However, there will be a $500.00 daily limit for ATM withdrawals. There will also be a $500.00 daily limit for POS (point-of-sale) transactions using a PIN (e.g., using your debit card at a grocery store) and a $750.00 daily limit for POS transactions using a signature.

Can I still use my Apple Bank ATM Card during the upgrade?
Yes. You can use your ATM card at Apple Bank ATMs for cash withdrawals. Deposits, transfers and balance inquiries will not be available. Additionally, there will be a $500.00 daily withdrawal limit for ATM transactions.

Will I be able to use other bank ATMs during the upgrade?
Yes. However, as previously indicated, your daily withdrawal limit will be $500.00 a day. Standard bank limits will be restored after the upgrade is completed on August 8, 2022.

Can I still use my Apple Bank Credit Card during the upgrade?
Yes. There are no upgrade-related restrictions on Apple Bank-branded FNBO credit cards.

Can I access my safe deposit box during  the upgrade?
Since all branches will be closed at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 5, through Sunday, August 7, there will be no access to safe deposit boxes during  that time.

Will the CustomerLine call center be able to  answer questions during the upgrade?
On Friday, August 5, from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Saturday and Sunday, August 6 and 7, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, CustomerLine will be able to respond ONLY to your inquiries about the upgrade itself. Information regarding your account balance or any other transaction-related activity will not be available until the morning of Monday, August 8. What should I do if my Apple Bank ATM or Debit Card is lost or stolen during the upgrade?
Call us at 1-914-902-2775. You may also use this number to report any unauthorized transactions on your account. Our TDD number is 1-800-824-0710.

Will my account(s) or ATM/debit card numbers remain the same after the upgrade?
Yes. Your account number(s) will remain the same after the upgrade.

Can I still use my existing checks,  deposit tickets, Apple Bank ATM card  and Visa Debit Card after the upgrade?
Yes. Apple Bank will not be replacing your checks,  deposit tickets, Apple Bank ATM or Visa Debit Card. 

Will Apple Bank work to safeguard my account and financial information during the upgrade?
Yes. Keeping your information secure and private is a top priority for us.

Payments, Deposits and Transfers

Will the upgrade affect scheduled or recurring funds transfers between my Apple Bank accounts set up in Online Banking?
Yes. Transfers scheduled for August 5 will be processed that morning. Please review any scheduled or recurring transfers you have set up, and change the date for them to occur prior to August 6 or on or after August 8. You can see this information in Online Banking. Choose “Account Services” from the menu, and then click on “Online Activity Center.” Review your transactions listed under the “Single Transaction” and “Recurring Transaction” tabs.

Will the upgrade affect automatic (ACH)  deposits to my Apple Bank accounts?
Since ACH transactions (e.g., direct deposit,  external funds transfers, etc.) are only posted  on Apple Bank business days, they will not be impacted by the system upgrade.

Will my external accounts still be linked  in Online Banking?
Yes. All accounts previously validated for  External Funds Transfers will continue to  be available after the system upgrade.  Any transfers scheduled for August 5 will be processed.

Will the upgrade affect recurring bill payments from my Apple Bank accounts?
Recurring bill payments will not be affected. Bill payments are only sent on business days. Any payments set up for August 5 or August 8 will  be sent as scheduled.

Account Data and Communications

How can I reset my PIN to make account transfers within Telephone Banking on  Monday, August 8?
Call 914-902-2775 and enter the personal  information requested by the system prompt, then select option 1, then select option 4.  You’ll be automatically prompted to set up  your new funds transfer PIN.

Will I receive Online Banking alerts during the upgrade weekend?
Online Banking alerts will not be sent during this weekend. 

When will I be able to see my account history in Online Banking?
You will be able to view your account history, make transfers and deposits,  and access bill payment after the system upgrade on Monday, August 8.
