Apple Bank Announces Grand Opening of Hartsdale Branch

HARTSDALE, NY – Apple Bank announced today that its newest branch, located at 227 N. Central Avenue, in the Westchester Square Shopping Center, opened its doors to the public on August 4th, 2025.
The branch represents Apple Bank’s continued investment in providing accessible, community-based banking throughout Westchester County.
“This new location reflects Apple Bank’s ongoing commitment to serving the residents and small businesses of Westchester,” said James Matera, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer at Apple Bank. “Hartsdale is a vibrant community with strong ties to the greater New York City area, making it an ideal fit for our relationship-focused approach.”
The Hartsdale branch will offer a full suite of consumer, commercial, and small business banking products and services, as well as access to select non-deposit investment services. It will be staffed by a dedicated team of bankers who live in and understand the local community.
Leading the new branch is Tania Bello, who comes to Hartsdale from the Bank’s Thornwood, NY branch, where she was the manager since 2024. Tania brings over 14 years of experience in community banking to her role as Vice President and Branch Manager. Tania is known for her dedication to customer service, relationship building, and small business support.
Ahead of the opening, Tania Bello said: “I am thrilled to be at Apple Bank in Hartsdale, and I am looking forward to serving the Hartsdale community.”
She will be joined by Thomas Papaioannou, Assistant Branch Manager, a five-year veteran of Apple Bank and a graduate of Mercy College. Tom is passionate about delivering a 5-star customer experience and is actively involved in local volunteer work, including financial literacy programs, food drives, and efforts to support the homeless.
