Getting Started

Take charge of your future - whether you're saving for big goals like a wedding, new home or reducing debt. Make progress more effortlessly by setting up automatic withdrawals into your investment account to help steadily grow your money over time. Osaic Financial Consultants will design a strategy that’s right for your situation.

New Parents

Secure your child’s future with an education savings plan. Enjoy tax-deferred growth and tax-free withdrawals for qualified education expenses. Osaic Financial Consultants make it easy to set up your plan and define your monthly contributions so that you can focus on what matters most - your family.

Saving for Retirement

Balancing financial priorities can be a challenge. The sooner you start saving toward retirement, the more opportunity your money has to grow. Saving just $50 a month can add up to $6,000 in 10 years (not including potential growth or interest). By gradually increasing your contributions each year, you can expand your savings significantly.

Changing Jobs

Switching jobs comes with unknowns. Don’t let uncertainty or unnecessary taxes derail your retirement savings. If you have a 401k rollover or payout of your pension plan, Osaic Financial Consultants can help. Plus, get help creating a financial plan that incorporates these assets, along with any other savings or investments, giving you confidence during this transition.

Business Owner

Osaic Financial Consultants understand the unique needs of local business owners and can help you choose the right retirement plan for your situation, whether it's just for you or your employees too. Your consultant will simplify your options, so you can focus on what you do best - running your business. Simplified Employee Pension Plans (SEP) are also an option for business owners, professional practices and their employees.

Nearing / Living in Retirement

You want to feel confident and prepared for your next chapter - maximizing your retirement savings, paying off debt, and generating a steady income. Osaic Financial Consultants aim to help you ensure your assets last throughout retirement, so you can enjoy financial peace of mind as you near retirement or enjoy living in retirement.

Through Osaic Institutions, one of the largest and most experienced companies in the country, you have access to a broad range of investment and insurance products.

We are here to help you find the right solution to help you meet your near- and long-term goals

Mutual Funds*

Mutual funds provide access to a professionally managed, diversified portfolio of stocks, bonds, and other assets that are managed on your behalf. You can make a one-time contribution or make regular contributions over time. Mutual funds can be a simple way to diversify, reduce investment costs, and choose from strategies that align to your financial goals and meet your risk tolerance.

Exchange Traded Funds

ETFs are a group of investments, like stocks or bonds, that you can buy and sell on the stock market. They can offer low investment costs, diversification, flexibility, transparency, and tax efficiency. ETFs can also offer a simple way to start investing.

Fixed Income Funds

Fixed income funds invest in government, corporate, or municipal bonds with the goal of generating income and preserving capital. They are often used by those seeking lower risk. While their returns are also typically lower, these funds can offer more stability than higher-risk investments like stocks.

Equity Linked CDs*

An equity-linked certificate of deposit (CD) lets you earn interest based on the stock market's performance. Your principal deposit is protected by FDIC insurance (up to $250,000 per depositor, for each account ownership category), but gains on your principal investment are not insured. They are typically used by investors seeking higher returns than a regular bank CD. You can also hold them in an IRA to defer paying taxes on any earnings until after you retire.

Bonds

A bond is a loan made to a company or government in exchange for interest payments over the bond term. Your original investment is then returned to you  when the bond matures. Bonds are generally safer than stocks and can balance your portfolio by reducing risk. Bonds are often used for steady income and portfolio stability.

529 College Plans

A 529 plan is a tax-advantaged savings account designed specifically for education expenses. You contribute after-tax dollars to the account at any time, either as a one-time payment or through ongoing contributions, with no age restrictions on when you can start or stop contributing. The money in the account has the potential to grow over time based on investment performance. When it’s time to use the funds, withdrawals are completely tax-free as long as they are used for qualified education expenses.

An annuity helps you save for retirement or long-term goals with tax-deferred growth. It's ideal for retirees seeking steady income, pre-retirees growing their savings, or anyone wanting to leave assets for their beneficiaries.

Fixed Annuities

A fixed annuity is an agreement with an insurance company where you earn a guaranteed** rate of return and receive a steady income in return for your contributions. Fixed Annuities offer tax-deferred growth and offer stability because they  aren't affected by market fluctuations.

Variable Annuities*

A variable annuity is a long-term, retirement savings product that can provide income. These investments generally provide tax-deferred growth, a death benefit, and lifetime income options. They may also fluctuate in value based on the market performance of the investments that fund them. Variable annuities have two phases: accumulation (growth) and payout (guaranteed** income).

Indexed Annuities

Indexed annuities combine features of both fixed and variable annuities. An indexed annuity is an agreement with an insurance company where you earn interest based on a stock market index, such as the S&P 500.***

The quick answer: as soon as you are able to start investing. Not everyone has the time to learn the nuances of finance and building wealth. This is why you want to work with a professional who can help reduce some of the stress associated with investing. An annuity is a financial product that’s designed to protect and grow your money, at a guaranteed rate of return, and then provide a stream of guaranteed income at a later date.

Annuities are purchased through, and principal protected by, many different insurance companies. Annuities grow in value over time, then, when you’re ready to start receiving income, your annuity can be turned into a steady stream of income. You can also cash out your annuity at maturity if you desire. Speak to one of our Financial Consultants for a more detailed explanation and how to get started.

Most annuities have minimum purchase requirements and may or may not allow multiple payments. The requirements vary by product. Speaking to one of our Financial Consultants is a great place to start.

With fixed and fixed-indexed annuities, you won’t lose the money you contribute to your annuity unless you take a withdrawal or surrender your annuity during its early withdrawal charge period. Variable annuities offer more opportunity for growth but do come with principal risks, meaning you could lose some or all of your initial investment. Please speak to one of our Financial Consultants for more on what is right for you.

Many annuities don't have an upfront sales fee. However, they do include surrender charges if you withdraw your funds prior to maturity. Annuities also have free withdrawal periods that allow you to withdraw a certain percentage of your investment annually. Our Financial Consultants can review all these details with you to ensure you fully understand before you ever invest in a product.

Annuities are intended to be long-term products. They provide their best results when left untouched until maturity. However, it's nice to know that you have access to the funds in your annuity if you need them. Many of our products provide a number of options to withdraw the money in your annuity, including,

  1. Penalty-free withdrawals up to a certain percentage
  2. Interest withdrawals through the easy systematic payment program.

Remember that for certain products, withdrawals prior to age 59½ may be subject to restrictions and a 10% penalty tax. Early withdrawal charges, market value adjustments and taxes may also apply.
