Apple Bank Signs Multi-Year Sponsorship With The Armory Foundation, Becoming Title Sponsor of the Hispanic Games

December 1, 2025

NEW YORK - The Armory Foundation is pleased to announce a new multi-year sponsorship with Apple Bank, New York’s local bank offering a variety of personal and business banking services online and through 75 + branches in New York and New Jersey. Apple Bank will also be the title sponsor for the Hispanic Games, one of the most venerated meets on The Armory’s calendar with 32 years of history. The Apple Bank Hispanic Games will take place on January 2nd and 3rd, 2026.

The sponsorship reflects Apple Bank’s commitment to supporting The Armory and its mission throughout the indoor track season, which runs from October to April. With more than 300,000 annual visits and over 100 track meets, this partnership helps sustain The Armory’s programs for athletes, coaches, parents, and fans who call it home.

“More than 160 years ago, Apple Bank’s first branch opened only two miles from The Armory and now with almost 80 branches in New York and New Jersey, Apple Bank’s branches are convenient for so many of the athletes who train and compete at The Armory,” said Armory Co-President Jonathan Schindel. “We are so pleased to welcome Apple Bank as one of The Armory’s partners.”

“Apple Bank is proud to be a sponsor of The Armory, an institution that is an important pillar of the tri-state track and field community and its impact on the lives of young athletes cannot be overstated. As a community focused institution like The Armory, Apple Bank is happy to support a venue in which athletes from the greater New York region can come together to develop and showcase their talent,” said James Matera, Senior Executive Vice President of Apple Bank.

The Apple Bank Hispanic Games is one of the largest high school indoor track and field events in the United States, with over 5,000 student-athletes expected to participate. This meet celebrates the rich culture of Upper Manhattan, while providing high-level competition. As the title sponsor, Apple Bank will have its logo displayed on the race bibs and finish line tape, along with the opportunity to set up an activation and a branded selfie booth. During the welcoming ceremony, the Leaders of Tomorrow Award will be presented to ten deserving students, and an Apple Bank representative will address the entire audience at this time.

With just a few weeks before the indoor track and field season hits full stride, The Armory and Apple Bank are excited for the opportunities to come, both this year and beyond. For over 160 years, Apple Bank has served the five boroughs, as well as surrounding communities.
