Apple Bank recently expanded its branch network to 84 locations with the opening of its latest retail branch in Englewood, NJ, located at 33 Nathaniel Place in the Palisades Court Shopping Center. This branch is in a newly-renovated site previously occupied by Capital One.

Founded in Harlem in 1863 and expanding over the years across the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Rockland counties, Apple Bank has built long-term relationships by providing affordable, reliable banking products and exceptional personal service to residents of the neighborhoods it serves.  Adding locations in New Jersey is a natural extension of the Bank’s branch footprint and allows it to better serve New Jersey residents, including those who work in New York City and already bank with Apple Bank.

With New York and New Jersey closely linked by more than just roads, railways and rivers, Apple Bank is looking to form deeper connections with those who live in New Jersey by providing local banking opportunities. While many banks are closing locations, choosing a purely digital experience for their customers, Apple Bank strives to balance its service delivery by providing customers with both digital products and access to the personal service it has been known for throughout its existence. Being present where it can best serve its clients is a philosophy that has served the Bank well, allowing customers to bank where, when, and how they chose. With Apple Bank’s expansion into New Jersey, residents of the state will now be able to bank in person, as well as manage and open accounts directly online.

Steven C. Bush, Chairman, President and CEO, stated, “With many of our customers living just across the Hudson River, our new branch in Englewood will bring local banking directly to them and others who wish to conduct business with us.”

James Matera, EVP/Chief Retail Banking Officer at Apple Bank, added “We are excited to open the Englewood branch, allowing New Jersey customers to now bank where they live – digitally, over the phone or in person. We are confident our customers, both current and future, will find this new location an added convenience.”
